Shipping and Return Policy
We always shipped order with great care for provide the best service to our collectors/ buyers/ clients and we dispatch/deliver order with high quality packing and courier service for 100% customer’s satisfaction.
Any order received will be considered confirmed only on receipt of full payment.
In case of multiple orders for the same artwork, only the first confirmed order with payment will be considered. Unconfirmed orders or requests may be ignored.
Please Note 1: The product(s) you have ordered will be kept on hold, under your name, for 7 days during the payment processing time. Your order will only be shipped once your payment is confirmed.
Please Note 2: The Government of India restricts the export of works of art of some artists. All such works that are unavailable for export are marked ‘NOT EXPORTABLE’ next to the name of artist. These items will only be delivered to shipping addresses within India.
The artwork(s) ordered will be delivered in suitable protective packing after receipt of payment. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of your order. We will not dispatch shipments to post box addresses. There are some countries where there are restrictions imposed on types of shipments. We will not be able to ship products to such countries.
The list price includes packing, shipping, forwarding and insurance charges. Most of the prints work will be delivered in a roll form (unframed). In case of paintings, we will try to ship the work stretched (flat), if the work is too large we will have to de-stretch it and ship it rolled.
Duties, taxes and levies at the buyer’s end, if any, shall be borne by the buyer.

Damaged in Transit:
Should there be any damage to the artwork in transit the buyer should not accept the parcel and should notify us by email at Email Id or by SMS / phone call immediately. In case the work gets damaged in transit.
Negligent Handling or Poor Packing:
On account of negligent handling or poor packing, it can be returned to 404 Gallery within 2 working days – this means you should ship it back within 2 days even if it takes longer to reach 404 Gallery, that’s okay. In such a case we will refund the full amount to the buyer.
Artwork Does Not Match With Image:
The other reason you can return the work is because the image does not match the artwork. However, our Terms & Conditions does not allow you to return the work because you have changed your mind and do not like the artwork anymore. Such a return is not covered by our terms of sale.
Forfeit of Buyer’s Right:
It is made clear that the buyer would forfeit his/her right of refund/replace the art works if such steps are not taken within two days of receipt of artwork.
However, the unsatisfactory condition will only be covered for not exact artwork, damaged or spoilt condition and not be returned/exchanged because the buyer changed his/her mind and do not like the artwork he/she has purchased.
Images Produced with Great Care from Artworks:
While great care is taken to reproduce the colours and form of paintings as depicted on the website/computer screen/digital screen it is understood that since each painting is individually painted there may be a little variations in shade, colour and brightness. We try to advice the artists to maintain the image as it is with original artworks. No complaints in this regard would be entertained.
Non Delivery Cancellation Policy
404 Gallery delivers 100% of the orders within the promised schedule date but in rare circumstance if your item cannot be delivered, we will ensure you are updated about the delay on a timely basis.
If the item ordered is not dispatched after 14 Days, 404 Gallery will send an E-mail where you can decide to wait for few more days or send email for cancellation/refund.
If you have email says “wait for few more days”, we will try our best to obtain the item from our Artist and dispatch it at the earliest.
If the item ordered is not dispatched after 21 Days, the Order will be automatically cancelled on this day and amount will be refunded.
Cancellation by 404 Gallery:
Please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to accept and must cancel. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Some situations that may result in your order being canceled include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in painting or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is canceled or if additional information is required to accept your order.
Cash payment mode orders will be cancelled for non-receipt of cash within 48 hours from the time of placing the order.
All purchases made on 404 Gallery and subsidiary websites, come with a 85% Moneyback (deducting the processing charges) Guarantee.
For card payments, the refund will be processed back to the same card from where the payment was done. For cash payments, the refund will be done through a cheque. Cheque will only be made in favour of the “customer name” mentioned against the order.
